So, July is a lot of things–National Ice Cream Month, National Grilling Month–but it’s also Women’s Motorcycle Month! So, if you’ve got a bike of any kind get out and ride the highway sometime next month. In fact, I’ve found the perfect event for women bikers right here in San Jose. Check it out…
From July 5th through July 7th, the Women on Wheels 25th International Ride-In is taking place. So what’s that entail you ask? The rally will take place at Dolce Hayes Mansion located at 200 Edenvale Avenue beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The Ride-In will have rides each day through Thursday the 7th and if you happen to get hungry on that hog, there will also be vendors! Sign up today.
For those of you that have been thinking about a bike, there are plenty of dealerships in the local area. Here are a few recommended spots:

If you want to let loose and have a great time with your family, you should plan a trip to Raging Waters in San Jose! There are plenty of heart pounding rides for you to enjoy, especially if you’re a daredevil! Bombs Away is a new ride this year that is five stories above Lake Cunningham! Basically you enter an enclosed capsule, the trap floor drops, and you drop straight down in a freefall! Just thinking about this ride makes my heart drop! Raging Waters is located at 2333 South White Road, San Jose, CA 95148. For questions or more information, please call 408-238-9900.
Attention military members! Military Appreciation Day at Raging Waters is on July 17th. Military personnel and their family will have the opportunity to enjoy the exclusive use of a beautiful private catered area by the lake.
