So, July is a lot of things–National Ice Cream Month, National Grilling Month–but it’s also Women’s Motorcycle Month! So, if you’ve got a bike of any kind get out and ride the highway sometime next month. In fact, I’ve found the perfect event for women bikers right here in San Jose. Check it out…
From July 5th through July 7th, the Women on Wheels 25th International Ride-In is taking place. So what’s that entail you ask? The rally will take place at Dolce Hayes Mansion located at 200 Edenvale Avenue beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The Ride-In will have rides each day through Thursday the 7th and if you happen to get hungry on that hog, there will also be vendors! Sign up today.

Take a fun trip to Raging Waters with your entire family!
If you want to let loose and have a great time with your family, you should plan a trip to Raging Waters in San Jose! There are plenty of heart pounding rides for you to enjoy, especially if you’re a daredevil! Bombs Away is a new ride this year that is five stories above Lake Cunningham! Basically you enter an enclosed capsule, the trap floor drops, and you drop straight down in a freefall! Just thinking about this ride makes my heart drop! Attend the Puerto Rican Cultural Festival on Saturday, June 25th!
The 33rd Annual “Dia de San Juan” Festival will take place on Saturday, June 25th at History Park. The fun event will feature live music from some of the best bands around. For example, Latin Rhythm Boys from the Bay Area are scheduled to perform at the festival! Make sure you bring your appetite because there will be delicious authentic Puerto Rican Food for you to enjoy! This amazing scholarship fundraising event will began at 11 a.m. and conclude at 7 p.m. Tickets are only $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
