I have a question for you: Have you ever taken time out of your day to really look at all the beautiful places that the city of San Jose has to offer? For instance, you’ve probably passed by the San Jose Civic Auditorium plenty of times, but did you stop to really admire the beauty of the building? For your enjoyment, here are pictures of some of the beautiful places around San Jose!
There is nothing more relaxing than taking a dip in the pool after working hard all week. On the other hand, sometimes it’s just as relaxing when you sit by the pool and read the latest issue of your favorite magazine. If you’re like most Palm Valley residents, you were counting down the days until the pool reopened! In fact, you probably have friends and family members that live in other apartment communities in San Jose without a community pool on the property. It’s OK to invite them over for a swim, but remember that no more than 2 guests per household may accompany residents to the pool. In addition, please remember that glass and alcohol are not permitted in the pool area.
The pool is open from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. for your enjoyment. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to give us a call at 1-800-959-8419.

This is the perfect event for you to attend if you want to honor those that won the battle against cancer and those that lost the war. The opening ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Davis Middle School is located at 5035 Edenview Drive in San Jose. For questions or more information about Relay for Life, please call Gina Tsai with the American Cancer Society at 408-335-8431.

Don’t you just hate it when you go to work and everyone is talking about something that happened the night before? Do you hate it even more when you don’t have a clue as to what they are talking about? If this happened to you last month with regards to neighborhood association meetings, don’t let it happen to you again this month!
There are meetings every single week in May! On Thursday, May 5 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m., the “Friends of the Santa Teresa Park” meeting will take place at the Santa Teresa Golf Club banquet room located at 260 Bernal Road in San Jose. Usual topics of discussion will include community issues, volunteer opportunities, trail conditions, and potential plans. For additional neighborhood association meetings this month in District 2, take a look at the May 2011 District 2 Newsletter!
