Lisa Acosta

Business Manager

“Try to see the best/positive in every one I meet” – this is my personal motto. My name is Lisa and I am the Business Manager for Santa Palmia and the Village of Marineo. My background started in Banking and I’ve had the pleasure of traveling and living anywhere from Sacramento to San Diego and out to Virginia! I enjoy all types of water sports like-jet skiing, kayaking and one of my goals is to learn how to windsurf. In my spare time I go wine tasting, go to the theater, or read from my favorite author Sandra Brown.
 

Andrea Palmer

Assistant Business Manager

Hi, my name is Andrea Palmer. I was born in San Jose, California. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications with a concentration in Sales and Marketing. I married my high school sweetheart and we have two beautiful children who are the loves of my life. I enjoy reading, writing, and spending time with my family.

Veronica Bernal

Resident Services Specialist

My name is Veronica Bernal, I’ve lived in San Jose for 21 years. I have an A.S. in Administration Of Justice, and I’m currently attending East Bay University. I am an outdoorsy person who enjoys being active. I also enjoy reading, so you can always catch me at Barnes & Noble.
 

Anthony Schrag

Resident Services Specialist

Hey Everyone! My full name is Christopher-Michael Anthony Schrag. My parents moved out to South San Jose over 20 years ago when I was 3 years old and I’ve lived here since. Outside of work I live up to my nickname Shredder through tearing it up on the basketball court and working out. When I’m not on the court or at the gym, you usually can find me watching basketball (go Lakers!), running around outdoors, or reading some John Maxwell. I’ve been with Palm Valley now for a little over a year and have really enjoyed working here and meeting a lot of the people that live here. I am a huge people person so come by to the office and say hi!
 

Kevin Baker

Senior Service Manager

Hi! My name is Kevin Baker. I’m the Senior Service Manager here at Santa Palmia and The Village of Marineo. I’ve been a part of the team since December 2010. In my free time I enjoy staying active with hiking, reading, biking and running! Intense as all those workouts seem, the most difficult thing I’ve had to do is Yoga! When I’m not working out, I’m hanging out with family and friends. If I could vacation anywhere it would definitely be Maui. But, enough about me, I look forward to seeing you around the property!

Gonzalo Pinedo

Service Manger

Hi my name is Gonzalo and I have been with Palm Valley for one year. I am from Guadalajara Mexico and love to vacation in Puerto Vallarta. I have 3 kids and love watching action movies with them. My all-time-favorite movie is the Godfather. On my days off I like to play tennis. I also play the accordion in a band – we preformed at the annual picnic. Hope you enjoyed it!
 

Arthur Velasquez

Hello! My name is Arthur and I came to San Jose from Salinas, CA. I was asked who my inspiration was and I dropped the name Bill Gates, can’t go wrong. On my days off I jump on the highway and go cruising in my low rider and listen to my James Brown cassettes. I enjoy eating home-made burritos and watching my favorite movie – Viva Zapata He was one of the pioneers of the 1812 revolution in Mexico. My favorite spot to vacation is Lake Tahoe, but only in the summer time. If you ever want to listen to me, I am a man with a story.
 

Jesus Mendez

Hello! My name is Jesus and I’ve lived in San Jose since I was 5 years old, by way of Mexico City. I’ve been with Palm Valley for 3 years. I have 2 daughters that I love to spend time with. Our favorite movie is Shrek 2. On my days off I also like to work on cars – if you have a love for cars, I’ll chat with you about the work you’ve done to yours! My favorite food is Sopec – a special kind of home-made burrito, delicious!

Jose Finuliar

Hello, my name is Jose and I am originally from Manaoag in the Philippines. If you are planning a vacation, strongly consider the Philippines. There is great food there, my favorite. I’ve been at Palm Valley for 3 years. I always knew I would be working with tools, as my childhood idol is MacGyver. In my free time I like to hang out with my friends, sing, and watch TV. I like watching Stargate and Star Wars.

Raul Bernal

Hi my name is Raul and I am originally from Jalisco Mexico. I enjoy activities such as running, playing tennis and bowling. I have 8 wonderful children. My favorite place to eat lunch is Subway – they have a really good Tuna sandwich. I have been at Palm Valley for 2 and a half years and enjoy helping residents.

Hi, my name is Gonzalo Casillas but some people call me Brenes. I moved here from Mexico in 1973 with my wife when we had no children, and now we have four! One of my favorite things to do is watch soccer, and my favorite local team is the Earthquakes. I look forward to meeting you, feel free to say hi!

Hi! My name is Eloisa and I have been at Palm Valley for 5 years. I am originally from Michoacán Mexico and Mexico is definitely my favorite place to vacation. I enjoy spending time with my family. I have 4 children and they are growing so fast. I also enjoy going to the gym. My favorite food is tamales – when the farmers market opens, you HAVE TO try one there!
